A similar thread asked the question regarding Israel yet I've never understood why the U.S. would fund a known terrorist group.

The US is giving aid to the Palestinian Authority to the tune of $500 Million. So far those funds have only been used in the West Bank and not Gaza. Fatah is attempting to find loopholes on the Quartet Principles ( Quartet Principles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) by basically re-badging the unity gov't with a new name thus circumventing the name of Hamas. Fatah already has proven from their past that this can be done since their old name was the PLO.

That's the Democrat Party working for (or, perhaps against) the American people. Never really looking out for us, and always on the side of the enemy.

Bullies, always have to buy their friends. Those so called friends, would not hesitate to throw the bully to the sharks.

Much of the foreign aid the U.S. gives to Palestine is earmarked for " preventing terrorism against Israel from Hamas and other militant organizations. "

and to fund;

Fostering stability, prosperity, and self-governance in the West Bank that inclines Palestinians toward peaceful coexistence with Israel and a “two-state solution.”

So basically it's money to aid and protect Israel, not help the Palestinians. lol
