If the socialist idiot in WH had listened to the advice of his generals on signing the status of forces with Iraq. Maybe this genocide wouldn't be happening. However, the truth is the socialist idiot could care less about christians or jews.
There was no agreement to be signed. The Iraqis wanted to prosecute American soldiers
Did Congress cancel theirs, me thinks not, at least the President can and does his job even while on "vacation", cannot really say that about Congress now can we.
As long as there are soldiers fighting anywhere I have a problem with any of them being on vacation.
Because to many lefties, killing and actual genocide is OK.
As long as Arabs kill Arabs, Blacks kill blacks, Mexicans kill Mexicans, and Asians kill Asians, it's "their own business".
But if any of the races are mixed in these situations, especially involving self defense, it is an act of injustice.
And for the record, I'm not conservative at all.... I just very much see the obvious flaws in the liberal community, since I do find that liberals are the ones who absolutely fear criticizing each other in the slightest.
The hypocrites are the righties who tell us that Islam is the scourge of the earth, that there is an evil plan in place for Islam to take over the world, who then turn around and feign outrage that we won't spend American blood and $$$ fighting battles Muslims should be fighting for themselves.
Here, Burdell. This article just happened to appear this morning. How ironic it is, that often something like this will show up at just the right time. It's title, "It's all in the Book," is telling. The article deals with people telling us who they are, that they reveal themselves, and we should believe them.
Hitler told us who he was and what he intended to do in Mein Kampf.. Likewise, Hamas has told us who they are and what they intend:
"The Hamas Charter is, in effect, the book that many are now reading and quoting. It’s all there in the book. They’ve told us who they are. The destruction of Israel and the extermination of the Jews is one of their main objectives. They write about the worldwide caliphate and the conversion or elimination of the infidels. It is the explanation of what is happening and what will happen in the future, unless they are stopped by a greater force."
That "greater force" would normally be (and should be) the United States. We should take them at their word. Why is it that people like you do not believe those who have told us exactly who they are?
Even our President does not appear to understand (or does he?). Why is it that President Obama always seems to show deference to Islam? The Hamas Charter tells us the goal of Islam. We should believe them.
But, we on the "Right" ("Righties," as you call us) are just fear mongering "the sky is falling" crazies. Right?
Actually the "progressive left" just authorized air strikes against ISIS. They also shipped additional ammunition to Israel. What are you talking about?
After we walked away from Iraq and allowed the terrorists to regain control, we now (finally) decide to make "limited" strikes? This is a feigned response. It is weak, and it will be ineffective.
Obama does not really want to be "Commander in Chief." He doesn't know how to be a leader (especially one who is supposed to command a military force). Obama has no military savvy. He has no military training, and cannot think militarily. To Obama, the military is a "necessary evil," and he would prefer to do away with it altogether.
"Progressives," after all, think that "peace talks" and "negotiation" can solve problems with those who are recalcitrant players on the world stage. Killing "innocents" in war is to be avoided at almost any cost. This is why they resist the use of military force.
War is so unnecessary in the "Progressive's" fantasy land of a perfect world.
Let's be fair......while I hate to generalize it makes the point in this case.....it was the "left" that said "stay out of Iraq". So why should they say any more than "see I told you so"?
Many on the "right" also said to "stay out of Iraq".
Iraq was one of those "bi-partisan" agreements that lefties are so fond of.
Your feelings are irrelevant. The President's job isn't determined by your feelings.
When it comes to the facts, rather than your feelings, the fact is that Obama gave a speech saying it was a core interest of the United States to prevent human rights disasters. And it was this exact justification that Obama used for his actions in bombing Libya.
And as for it being an excellent point, would you also call it an excellent point that dolphins are actually mammals rather than fish? Because that has just about the same level of relevance as the "excellent point" that Obama is the President of America rather than of Christianity. Your "excellent point" was just a straw man. Try this exercise - Obama signs the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay act into law, I say Obama isn't President of Women's Rights he's President of America. Is your response that's an excellent point? No, of course it isn't. So perhaps you can apply some critical thinking and see how declaring Obama is President of America rather than President of Christianity is not an acceptable response to his doing very little to help the Christians being persecuted by Muslims.
The hypocrites are the righties who tell us that Islam is the scourge of the earth, that there is an evil plan in place for Islam to take over the world, who then turn around and feign outrage that we won't spend American blood and $$$ fighting battles Muslims should be fighting for themselves.
You can't be serious.
