If supporters of Obamacare believe that this law is so desirable or compassionate, they must ask themselves why the President keeps pushing the implementation of key provisions beyond Election Days.

I agree......what we have now is a shadow of the bill that was passed.

It was front loaded when passed....a good share of it did not come into play until 2016.......then much of it kicked down the road by Obama himself.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop......not good for businesses.......and like it or, not......what is not good for businesses, is not good for the economy.

Republicans voted earlier this year to delay the employer mandate for 10 years. The other major delay on plans being compliant ends in 2016. Heck if Republicans had their way they would delay everything and then kill the ACA so from a Republican point of view arent you happy about the two delays?

Of course not - delay and revision by executive order or administrative rule making are temporary and uncertain. Businesses do not know when or if they will face huge new costs as a result of hiring a few more people right now.

Legislative changes are more certain because they are more difficult to change - businesses see them as more predictable and don't mind making long term plans based on them.

But you also do not answer the OP's question - if the ACA is such a wonderfully ducky law, why does the President keep delaying the painful parts of it and the political consequences that will follow?

The QUESTION is, why does the president keep pushing implementation off into the future?

Because it hurts people, that's why.

But it's a trade off - it hurts people, but empowers government, which is why he's struggling to keep it. Like you, he believes that all decisions are best made by government bureaucrats, not by individuals, so he, like you, argue to keep it.

After all, why would YOU want to have to make your own decisions and be responsible for yourself? You let the Democrat party think for you, and it tells you that government is superior to your own judgement and capabilities, so therefore you fight to dis-empower yourself.

This law was passed with a constant stream of lies and deception.
-He lied about how his mother died to score political points for Obamacare, he continued the lie after caught in it.
-He lied about keeping your doctor, period.
-He lied about keeping your plan if you like it, period.
-He lied about being opposed to a mandate.
-He lied about the costs of the program top sell it, i.e. the deception of not getting subsidies on the federal level enabled them to project less costs and then after it is put in place they try to give subsidies to that group.

This law is highly inefficient.
-31 Million non-elderly Americans will still be uninsured in 10 years.
-2.5 Trillion Dollars spent on this program by 2024.
-A loss of hours worked equivalent to over 3 Million full time jobs.
-The website was way over cost and ineffective - no wonder Obama promised to never do no-bid contracts above $25K, too bad Candidate Obama is nothing like President Obreezey.
