Yeah, there's no chance of someone not actually in a gang ever throwing up gang signs in a photo. I can find probably hundreds of photos of friends(or myself) in our teenage years throwing up "gang signs" in photos.
Because he would be stealing merchandise from the owner's business... But there was no 911 calls about a robbery from that store, this is just 'assassination of character' if I ever seen one, demonize the victim and make the cops look like upstanding heroes after they murdered somebody.

Yeah, and those pictures only show Mr. Brown giving the store owner a pat on the shoulder and a happy goodbye.
Just stupid kid stuff and it sounds like he reacted with poor judgement when confronted by law enforcment, which resulted in the loss of his life. The cop was still ultimately responsible for his death and will have to face the penalty.
Wow, some people have nothing else in life than to constantly tell blacks they deserve to be murdered.
I would feel bad for the author and their readers if they weren't monsters.
