I don't agree with the kill whitey idea anymore than I can get behind looting and destroying stuff because you're angry.
But what I do not understand at all is destroying your own neighborhood. It makes no sense to me. If I ever decide to riot and or loot I am dang sure not going to start at the nearby store - a store I might need to buy from the day after.
Pheh. If you knew anything about black communities in the US, you'd know that People fight day in, day out against violence. Preachers talk about it, musicians sing about it, activists work to prevent it.
If you don't know that, then it means that *you* aren't concerned. *you* aren't involved. You won't even bother to do a Google search on it - a process that takes about 20 seconds.
People become irate when police continue to be violent and untrustworthy, or when (eg. Trayvon Martin) some kid gets killed for walking home, and the cops hear the audio of the white shooter chasing the black kid down the street for no discernable reason and say "Well, I'm sure the black kid regrets what he did", as police Chief Bill Lee did. But they're irate over kids being killed by other black kids as well. Why wouldn't they be? They're their *children*.
Yes. I live in Philly and the community are absolutely doing whatever they can to push back against the violence. Especially the mothers of slain sons. To say no one cares is a gross misrepresentation.
Well I will say this unlike the Trayvon case there maybe some actual merit to the charges of unjustifiable shooting. The police are being very circumspect. They're saying if the family wants to know the officer that shot their son they'll have to go to court. Normally if the cops think they are in the right they rush out the details. Here they are not doing so.
Riiiight because if the officer lives around there he and his family couldn't possibly be in any danger for retribution?
Guess you don't remember all the posts on social media about where Zimmerman was supposed to live and how he should be taken out etc etc?
Heck, even posters here talked about Zim getting killed off.
Yeah, no possible reason they are witholding his name other than he's guilty.
Maybe he is, don't know yet...but dear lord that's one heckuva stretch of an interpretation.
And I'm sure untold thousands upon thousands of Blacks were killed, castrated, or beaten to a pulp by whites during the Slavery, Reconstruction and Jim Crow era's. In the game of America when it comes to killing each other I would say that white people are still winning that one easily. It's not even close.
That's just great, more black on white murders until they catch up, when do you suppose that will happen?
Did anyone watch the news conference? They interviewed who I'm thinking is the lead protester. Was that guy still living in the 1960's? Saying that Ferguson has 53 cops and 50 are "white boys". He also said that the city of St. Louis promoted 16 cops and 15 were "white boys". In other words, lower the testing standards so that more blacks can become Lt. As a black man, I am highly offended. I don't need the bar lowered for me to make it. I want the same requirements as everybody else.
New Jersey police station was shot up last night. I wonder if it's related to the killing of mike mike.
