I assume most of you wouldn't let a petulant child get away with bad behavior, so I'm sincerely asking, what is your solution to Obama's gross misconduct while occupying the office of the Presidency?

Are you one of those Democrats who can't stop talking about impeachment or one of those Republicans who never does?

Last week, I was told by the right wingers, that the Republicans never talk impeachment...

I find him disappointing but that's not the same as gross misconduct. If I did see gross misconduct on his part, I'd obviously support impeachment.

I feel no need at all to "deal" with him.

Since he hasn't done anything impeachable, I would like to know what the OP is talking about. Oh and by the way OP, thanks for showing that it is indeed Republicans who are always talking about impeachment.

I do not think there will ever be proof of an impeachable offense - clearly directed illegal activity or clearly directed illegal use of agencies for the persecution of adversaries - so impeachment should remain off the table. Even if the GOP should gain a Senate majority impeachment should never be used for political purposes - the few times it's been done it failed miserably because it was little more than political theater.

The best way of "dealing" with an intransigent partisan President is to simply conduct the business of Congress as it was meant to be conducted - by passing bills in the best interests of the country and sending them to the President's desk. Impossible at the moment with the Reid lockdown of the Senate, but if that should change in November then the best thing to do is be a productive Congress and let the President own his vetoes or learn to compromise.

I don't think he will be impeached. Honestly, with this Congress, not much can be done, other than vote for better candidates in November.

Well since the Cons do not have any evidence that would warrant impeachment and since they do not and will not get the votes in Congress to remove him from office I would say there is not much you can do about Obama one way or the other so the entire basis of this thread is a bit assumptive. How about the Congress do their jobs for a change and start addressing the issues instead of the constant whining about the President?

Look carefully through this list, there is many things he could be impeached for. http://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.../15/obama-252/

Wait until republicans control the DOJ, NSA, FBI, IRS, and go after the criminals one and all. Holder and Lerner need to do time. It would set a very bad precedent to jail a President. Everyone else in the criminal administration is fair game, including past members like Rahm Emanuel. If Obama is smart he will pardon everyone in his administration, resign right before the end of his term and have Biden pardon him. He's not smart.
