Yes and there was a time when 14 year olds lived and worked on their own.
The media is left wing. The left wing is all about victimhood.
We are becoming a more sexually permissive society, not less.

The media is not left wing. The country is polarized and you have left and right wing media. Turn on your radio.
This isn't a left/right issue. Everything is not repub vs. democrat

There's no difference between being 40 and 18 when it comes to molesting a pre-pubescent child.
Life experience truly has nothing to do with the simple ability to consent to sex. Puberty makes you sexually aware. Think about it. What different tactic do you use to get a woman when your were 22 then at 40? It's the same crap. Talk, build a rapport, try to impress, see if she wants a date, try to kiss/fondle ect. It's not rocket science. Not much different than a baboon in the forest showing off for the females. She's either into you or isn't. 40 doesn't give you magical sexual powers. I only wish it did! You might balance a checkbook better! LOL The older you get the harder it becomes to get hot young women. Let's be honest. The 22 year old alpha stud at his fraternity is scoring way more hot chicks than your average 40+ something. So 40 isn't giving special powers and to molest a PREPUBESCENT child is easy because they don't know what their doing. That's what makes it rape.
Again, if 18 year old is a "minor" in some states, can't even drink alcohol or view adult porno in a few states, then isn't it just 2 kids messing around? Should the 11 year old be charged for underage sex as well and be sent to juvenile? I of course do NOT think this. I'm of course just showing the absurd hypocrisy when someone says a 18-25 year old is just a kid. It's laughable. Just to be clear, I think he should be charged as an adult and given the same penalty a 25, 40, 30, 50 year old should be given. Oh and lets be honest about another thing. We all have a view of a pedophile as the "dirty old man". Most starts molesting kids when they're in their teens. When other boys are into girls, they're into prepubescent little kids. It's hardwired into their DNA like any sexual orientation. People don't seem to want to admit this.
To me childhood ends when puberty finishes. A 16 year old clearly knows what their doing sexually. An 11 year old DOES NOT. Period. I remember being 16. If I had relations with someone older, I was not being molested and I'm a man that matures later than a girl. If this was a 16 year old molesting an 11 year old, then same penalty should apply. Our whole idea of adulthood is really messed up.
It just keeps getting higher and higher. Adults used to be considered 18, then 20, then 21, now over 25? When does this end? College chicks are now "children" I guess? When the hell did this happen?
