Why are you asking your questions in the present tense?

That's right. We all saw how the " gentle giant" shoved the clerk in that store, after he handed off that box he clearly lifted to his buddy--the same buddy whose account of what happened we're supposed to believe.

Instead, I believe the cop. From the time he ignored the cop when told to clear the street, he challenged the officer. That seems to be the fun thing to do these days.

Because these questions are still unanswered. I know the boy is dead, but for many, this is not over.

Can the hypocritical righteousness.
I would not equate this large person with any kid from the burbs outside Boston in your scenario. If that store clerk had pressed his case he would most likely be beaten to death.

He was going to a "trade college" to get a cert to do HVAC fixing.

Perhaps he did but now the truth is out. He may have acted like a 'gentle giant' around his parents - but now they have seen the tape and know he was anything but.

I suspect that he assumed the policeman knew he had just robbed the convenience store and he likely reacted to the officer based on that.

I just saw the news and, again, police were standing around, watching people steal from businesses, and vandalize them--almost as if they were protecting them. Un-believable.
