Chris Christie posted a video on his facebook page of him taking the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease. Liberals spared no time using it as an opportunity to post vitriolic comments against the governor.

I read today that they were able to get him back into the water.

I'm a liberal, but I think it's a good thing that he's using his fame to raise awareness of this disease and encourage people to donate money. Argue with his policies all you want, but this time he's doing something good that may help people.

A a liberal, I have no issue with Christie doing this...I do hope the OP realizes people from all political types can be cruel and mean to people on the internet.

I am sure I could start a thread of conservatives saying mean things about a Democrat doing the ALS challenge.

Ah, that's nothing. Politicians are subhuman, so they don't have "feelings" like the rest of us.

Besides, I was looking at Obama's clownish Twitter account and someone posted "Are you confused on Father's Day?" and "I had Dreams From Your Father when I slept with your mother" on it. It cuts both ways.

As I noted earlier, politicians are the lowest form of life on the planet. ANYTHING you want to say about ANY of them is fair game. When they evolve into real humans, then we're all going to need to play nice.

Extremists on both sides of the political aisle lack courtesy. Unfortunately, these rude people get the most attention in the press and even in Congress. Politeness and social decorum are things of the past, unless one lives in the civilized South.

Since the sole purpose of a politician is to steal from us to give to them, they are only worthy of our contempt.

Backs up my theory that the reason they are "liberals" is because they are immature and live in a fantasy world. They hate people who try to teach them reality.
