why would he suddenly "snap" and make a decision to execute an innocent black man?
The question is...what happened next? Is it reasonable that a multi-year veteran on the police force, with no history of violence towards blacks (as far as I know, would welcome links) just decides, hey, we don't need to waste time on a trial, I'm just going to execute this perp right here? Does that seem likely?
Or perhaps, does it seem more likely that a 290 lb man, one who has just committed a crime and has the proof in his hands, would perhaps assault the cop, rather than face arrest? Would it seem probable that the much larger suspect might think he could overpower the officer and perhaps take his firearm? Does that seem reasonable or likely?
If you think that is possible...would you think it reasonable for a person in a position of potentially being overpowered and losing control of his weapon might be in fear for his life?
He was only with the Ferguson police force 4 years. He got a commendation medal.
They said he was quiet. Got to worry about those quiet ones
Who said he snapped. Maybe he was just a cop with awfully poor judgment skills
or simply trigger happy.
The ones that keep bringing up the crime - Wilson did not know Brown
was the criminal of the store at the time of the shooting.
18 years old he's still a boy in my book. Barely a man.
My question is, if there was a struggle between the two, why no marks on Brown.
What was it, a one handed struggle with Wilson the only one getting assaulted - seems hard to
believe.
IMO, I don't think it was a black (racist crime either) The officer just happened to be
patrolling in an all black area. If he was riding around in a white community he probably
would have the same failed police skills and trigger happy reflex.
How in the world could anyone actually know that? Doesn't pass the logic test for me. Sounds like someone who is embarrassed by the actions of their own community/culture.
Read the newspaper. And I have family who lives there
Did you do a headcount? Check ID's? Seriously, that's a pretty asinine statement to make.
How is it an asinine statement.

Exactly. Are there people coming in from other parts of the city to take part in the hijinks? Of course there are but to say that all these people looting and causing trouble are not from Ferguson is asinine at best.

You don't live there so why do you think your opinion is so important.

I realize this is hard to keep up with but even CNN confirmed tonight a source told them Wilson's story is he didn't know about the robbery when he told them to get out of the street but then he heard the report and saw they fit the description which is why he went back - then the altercation and shooting occurred.
Gun-toting thugs now are actively shooting at police.
Where are the national guards.
These thugs have shown themselves to be incapable of participating in a civil society. Time to lock it down.
Looks like Nixon is testing to see how a curfew-free night will go. Looks like tomorrow night we may be looking at marshall law.
It's about time to put these thugs away.
Who shot at who first?
And so the cycle repeats....
Anybody notice how the Police keep going after the press??
