Meh.
It's better for a first time shooter to fear the gun than to have a casual attitude about it. That casualness is what gets bystanders and themselves shot.
if a person lives in a place where gun culture is present, there are many able shooters who can teach first timers all the vital safety precautions needed, but if a person grows up in a place where there are few folks who have been around guns ever, it's only natural they fear and dislike them.
EVerything else about a gun is just learning how to aim and pull the trigger. The first time one is shot, every other aspect of shooting is apparent. The blonde gal gave it a fair try, learned the basics, but still had no big interest in ever shooting another gun again, but that brief time gave her everything she needed to know.
I grew up around guns and have hunted a lot as a young man. I know guns well enough to have qualified for marksman when I was a recruit in the Naval Training School in San Diego. I got my turn on the range late in the day, and was handed an old M1 that was so hot I didn't have a clear view of the target because of the heat waves coming off the barrel, so I had problems sighting the target.
The Marine gunny who was my supervisor said "Look, kid. This is just to familiarize you with the rifle. Just aim in the general direction and burn up the clip." So I did. And qualified for Naval gunnery school, though I didn't take it.
I've never been a gun nut and never will be. And I'm not the only Idaho liberal who knows guns very well. But if I was born somewhere else, and learned, it wouldn't have been some magic transformation; guns are only killing tools, no more, no less. They hold no fascination for me and never have, because any idiot can shoot one.
Now. Take up the banjo, and meet a REAL challenge. Or just about anything else. Guns are stupid simple in comparison to most things people learn to use.

B.,s...knowing about guns, owning guns and shooting guns makes you a genius and a real man.
Come on...get with the program here!. Guns, guns, guns!
No one cares about your guns. Simply put, you want to feel as if you're some part of a group that is being obsessed over by the government. You need it to feed your paranoia..and your ego.
If you didn't have guns to accuse someone of wanting to take, you'd invent some other conspiracy about some other object you own...like your Foreman Grill or your Stair Climber.
You should come here to California where our guns are deeply cared about by our democratic legislator to the tune of 10+ bills per year, every year, that get passed further restricting civil rights. Some fun things on the docket this year, making "ghost guns" illegal, what ever that is, further preventing people from buying not unsafe handguns that police are exempt from, adding serial numbers to guns made pre 1934 when serial numbers were not required, that makes total sense, let's destroy the value of historically significant guns to dremel in a serial number, preventing people from buying ammo on line, that will certainly prevent crime , confiscation of guns without due process, but it is for the children.
I'm a Liberal and when in the Navy was rated expert on the 1911 0.45 pistol. I don't have a functioning gun today because there is no need for such a tool in the modern urban home. If I lived out in the country, I'd almost certainly have a couple of guns but doubt I would find a need for a pistol.
There ya go! As a Canadian ex-serviceman from early 1960's we had a lot of the old ..303 Lee Enfield long stocks left over after transition to the FN C1 and I started my hunting by traipsing throughout the Pacific northwest with those old knuckle clangers while carrying my fathers old WWII service issued .455 Webley large frame in a surplus webbing shoulder holster for a back-up gun.
Today, not hunting any more, I can honestly say PERHAPS living in the country as I do and having sold all my other rifles, I might consider having an old Ithica pump in the house for protection. Carrying around a 30 Oz or more chunk of iron on my person would lead me to change jobs if it was required of me. I certainly would not carry one by choice, but to each their own.
Those who feel the desire or need are welcome to the aggravation of walking around lopsided but having done that and been there for weeks on end with that boat anchor under my pit; if it's not necessary due to environment, I ain't agonna do it. The other consideration old pharts like myself have is: our azz size diminishes with age and keeping our pants up where they belong is a struggle at the best of times, never mind with the added weight of a pistola and I REFUSE to wear braces!
First, the black hair girl is hot, and this video didn't really prove much other than it is good for people to know how guns function.
I am afraid that you live in a different world if you thought any of those girls were attractive. You must live in the Northeast US.
Any person I have taken out to shoot guns for the first time LOVED IT. When most libs condemn guns, they have never fired or owned weapons and thus don't know what they are talking about.

If all people did with the guns is shoot paper targets, there would be no controversy.
I took my wife out to a range and showed her how to hold a 1911 pistol properly. She put 5 out 0f 7 rounds on a 10'" pie plate at 20 ft. the first try. Her comment was the .45 was easier to shoot than a 9mm.
