Your analogy is erroneous.

Nope, it's right on point. It's a double standard, simple as that. It happens on both sides, and it's stupid.

Maybe the voters in the US will make a better choice next time they go to the polls.
What are the odds the two major parties make better choices in who they nominate? Or will we continue to see nothing but political hacks indebted to many put up for POTUS?

Barack Hussein took 5 minutes off his 2 year vacation and he actually sounded like a leader yesterday. My problem is that I just don't trust what he says...usually he will do exactly the opposite of what he says because he is a compulsive liar.

With the way our news media and social media go after political candidates, the good ones probably don't want to put their families thru it, just look at what they did to Sarah Palin.

Who would want to put the spouse and children thru that, if they could avoid it? So this is why too many times we get the selfish, narcissists who don't give a rat's ass, all they want is the money and power that go with the office.

Double standard I'll agree with. But the two examples are not remotely analogous.

She did it to herself (and continues to do so).

Obama seems to have an IDGAF attitude this term. I don't blame him because no matter what he does people are going to complain about it. He could go over there and rescue the journalists from ISIS himself and certain people would still find a reason to complain. I think being president has taken a toll on him. He looks frail, tired and he looks like he has aged 20 years since 2008.

Look at any person who has been POTUS. They all look like they aged 20 years by the time their terms are up.
