Of course. Even some liberals are finally waking up to the fact that liberal bias in education is getting to the point of being a serious problem in our country. In the 1950s the schools were evenly divided between being administered and taught by Republicans and Democrats. Today, the education establishment is 80% Democrat and the quality of education is in decline as those Democrats teach kids what to think instead of how to think. There's another thread on the forum right now about a student getting suspended for include a gun in a story he wrote. There was an incident some months back about a teacher penalizing a Christian student for refusing to stomp on a religious symbol in a class exercise. And another news story of a teacher who forced her white students to write personal letters of apology for slavery. The student government at UCLA banned use of the term "illegal alien" on campus. Condoleeza Rice was uninvited as a speaker recently due to her being a "war criminal". Feminist students physically blocked the entrance to the auditorium to keep people from hearing Will Farrell speak on mens' rights. A professor a couple years back won a case against her school for firing her because she was Republican. Most liberals simply dismiss liberal bias in education as utterly ridiculous and not even worth consideration. I believe they do this because they know it is true and have no legitimate answer to the issue. The more time goes on, the more incidents come out.

Liberals HAVE to re-write history in order to divide the country and create civil unrest since the students will grow up to hate America. It's the Progressive/Communist goal. Even Moochelle said we had to "change" our history. These people are pure evil.
And a lot of that stuff is just flat out true. America was decades behind Britain in abolishing slavery, so I'm pretty sure that it wasn't your founding principles that 'galvanized' that movement. Is that what some Americans seriously believe?
And colonization was absolutely motivated by a belief in British racial and cultural superiority. I don't even know how that's a cause for debate.
Are you going to argue that there wasn't a racial hierarchy in the US? That everyone was perfectly happy and treated fairly and equally?
But don't worry, I'm sure that teachers in their respective states will go on teaching that black people loved being slaves and Americans are never wrong... those stupid liberals may try to squash your freedoms but you can always fight back... because your ignorance and outrage will make you strong.
