No surprise there. Until our laws are corrected, it will continue as even the police can't defend themselves.
Years ago there was a young, white, scientist taking a walk after dinner in Palo Alto. He was attacked, robbed and murdered by thugs from East Palo Alto. After their arrest they sat in jail yelling about their hatred for whites, but even a request to the Feds to classify his death as a hate crime was ignored. Under the obama order I don't expect any changes as his version of facts are based in fantacy.

I can't believe some people are claiming that whites are responsible for more blacks' deaths than blacks are. The black-on-black murder stats should be known by everyone.

Agree with some / many of the things in this post. Yes, overwhelming majority of homicides, the victim and murderer are of the same race. Essentially crimes of opportunity. But the ferguson riots have many black leaders / people saying it is open season on black people. While that may be true, it's largely due to other black people. But they make it a race issue. And if you look at where murders are 'across races' blacks kill many more whites than vice versa (though as you pointed out, well under the number of same-race murders)
It is open season in black people, but not for the reasons you think. The issues in Fergusin have less to do with the fact that a police officer killed Michael Brown and more to do with the fact the lives of black people, particularly poor ones, are worthless. That's the messaging we get daily from society.
I don't need to weigh in on whether Brown was good or bad, but only when a black person is perceived as bad do we say, well they were a thug, they had it coming and deserved to die. There are people who commit minor similar bad acts all the time, yet no one says they should die. If shoplifting or fighting authorities were really things that should lead to death, then at least 25% of my high school classmates should not be living right now.

Charge the black with a racial motive. Where the hell is Al Shapton in this with his fellow 'brothers'? There are tons of black on white crimes, it's just that they aren't reported on the news.
No it isn't. They aren't targeting that person because they are white, it is because they think they have iPhones. It is not like you go to the trailer park hoping people have iPhones. You go to the neighborhood with the hipster bars where the young people use uber to get home. It isn't racism at all. It is increasing your odds and it is a crime of opportunity. Targeting someone white as a proxy of wealth isn't actually a hate crime. There needs to be a more malicious intent.
Robbing an immigrant because you think they have cash, with a goal of getting cash isn't a hate crime. Robbing an immigrant because they are immigrants would be. If tomorrow black people started carrying more cash then robbers after cash would change their targets.
The reason the bar is so high for hate crimes is because they have to be genuinely racially motivated, not due to correlation of traits or possessions.
There was a rash of robberies of Indians in a nearby city. The Indian neighborhoods were targeted because the Indians tended to have gold jewelry. This wasn't ruled as a hate crime as it wasn't directly racial motivated by hate.
That's basically the only type of crime we have in my town. After a couple of arrests we found that a lot of the burglaries were inside jobs. Rich entitled Indian American kids and their multiethnic friends knocking off their neighbors for their gold.

There was a case out here a few years back when a large group of black girls chased down a group of white girls (either 2 or 3 of them) while yelling horrible racial slurs and remarks about whites. They were only charged with a hate crime months later because of so much pressure from the public. Had the situation been reversed, a hate crime would have been the first thing mentioned by police. (I don't agree with hate crime statutes in any situation, but as long as we have them they should be applied evenly. Anyone who says they are is kidding himself.)
IMHO, nothing in our DNA can explain racial violence. It is instead the violence and despair of poverty.

This is inconvenient for the race baiters because it goes against the narrative that white racial oppression created inequity and caused violence in certain black and hispanic neighborhoods over others. Blame everything on the whites, but nobody wants to explain why Asians, specifically East Asians and South Asians, are so successful.
