A Muslim woman complained that a Sneakers Bistro bacon ad was offensive.
The Winooski. Vermont restaurant took down the ad but according to BrietBart it's Facebook page said:
"we are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety [emphasis added]. Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere."

I cannot reach their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sneak...o/241799185600

Why blame liberals? Find me a liberal who agrees with this. It's just your knee jerk reaction? Let's blame Obama.

Hindus don't eat beef. Will they take hamburgers off the menu next?

Depends - Do Hindus demand conversion & jiza or death?
That bacon offense is serious business. You can die with bacon breath.

I would ask her, if I remove it will you eat breakfast here? If she said no, then I would leave it.

No one is forcing the Muslim community to consume bacon or any other pork product. Why should it be removed from the menu. I have gone out to eat with people that keep Kosher and the restaurant was not a Kosher restaurant. They simply asked for fish cooked in tin foil and plastic utensils. Vegetarians may ask for something customized not to include a meat product but they don't ask items to be removed from the menu. I would love to know why is that we must change our ways for their benefit when to date it has not been done with any other group that may have food exclusions. Any restaurant that does this is off my list of places to eat. The first restaurant eliminated is Subway since they have not only removed menu items but also are purchasing food from companies that prepare the food in their special way.

Tell her to get the heck out of the country.... sounds harsh, I admit.

Just don't mess with my bacon and no one gets hurt.

Yeah, don't like how things are done in Rome, get the hell out of Rome... you follow me. Same goes with the stupid foot washing stations that some Muslim group was complaining about the lack of in airports....

I mean really... you don't like how things are done here or other places, go the hell home.

I wouldn't go into a Muslim country and complain about the call to prayer that happens 36 times a day.....

I'm tired of things being so PC these days......
