I called my cell phone provider today and had a nice conversation with the phone agent about my bill and other issues regarding my account. Very nice lady.

But she RUINED the whole thing by wishing me a "blessed day"

(JUST KIDDING, SARCASM)

But seriously, who do I sue? Do I ask for a year of free service?

LOL, obviously I'm just joking but didn't some kid get kicked out of school for saying "bless you" to someone?

No.

And all she said was "blessed day."

No religious meaning whatsoever to that...unless you're intent on taking it that way just to kick up dust.

I don't pay much attention when people say that. Most likely they don't care what kind of day you have and are just saying anything to cap off the conversation.

Nothing that a few years in prison can't fix.

Pretty much.

That kinda stuff is perfunctory...nothing more, nothing less.

Totally agree with you.

People are way too sensitive these days. A group wants a statue of a cross removed from a park at a busy intersection in Bladensburg, MD. The statue isn't erected for religious purposes at all, it's to remember the people who gave their lives to fight for our country during WWI. The statue has been there for almost 90 years and this is the first time someone has been offended by it?

Wow, some people have a straw-man of what others believe that is so outside of reality it's silly.

Which is why this is a silly fiction with no reference to anything that happened in reality.

I usually hang up before they ever get to the end part of their script.
I do always tell them thank you and goodbye before I hang up though so they are notified.
