The Military doesn't have a strategy, Obama doesn't have a strategy. The Intelligence people have no clue about what is going on.
Situation is chaos and another 150 people were executed by the Head Choppers. I guess we are waiting for the next video of a Journalist that has lost his head. News is bad coming from Russia's move on Ukraine, and not so good with the Chinese buzzing our planes.
On the upside for Obama - he has another Fund Raiser this weekend and a wedding, hope he can work in a relaxing Golf Game so he can "think" and "clear his head".
Obama should hold off on taking action. Here's why...
The whole ISIS media blitz is for ratings. Some fool reporter putting himself in the middle of a stone age group of religious crazies and getting beheaded IS NOT a national emergency.
Consider this:
If ISIS truly was such a horrible threat, there are plenty of military assets right there on the scene that could very quickly reduce all of ISIS to a thimble full of dust. The fact that Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi, and the Gulf States are doing exactly nothing should tell everyone all they need to know about this whole fiasco. If they aren't all that concerned, there's certainly no need for us to be. It's their back yard. They can chase out/dispose of the stray dogs that are causing problems.
Not our fight.
I smell a media campaign to get the public all stirred up for another middle east war. And it stinks.

He has no strategy, because he has no preferred outcome. Thus, his strategy ABOUT IT, is to try to buy time till elections by diverting to other topics.
The Military had a strategy, so did his advisors, Obama ignored it.
Now we are in it deep.
When you say "advisors" - are you talking about those who have left Team-Obama because nobody would listen to them (i.e. H. Clinton, Ambassador Ford, Sec Gates, Sec Panetta, Gen/CIA Petraeus, CoS Daily, Flynn -Director of Mil Intel and countless others) OR are you talking the only "Advisors" that Obama really listens to?

ALL of these major decisions, all of our Defense Strategy, all of our Military Strategy, the National Defense of the USA ....... ALL of it ....... it based on short term Political Optics that are determined by total Amateurs (Bill Clinton's assessment). These people are ALL Politics, ALL the time.
I've never seen a more dangerous time for the USA and the World.
A new Islamic State that is on the move. A resurgent Russia that is invading Countries. A China that is possibly the most dangerous of all. What will this President do if China goes after Japan or Thailand?
Answer .... NOTHING ...... and China knows that for sure. He said today that "there is not Military option to anything that Putin might do. That's astounding - it's an open invitation with zero consequences.

Typical response. China doesn't give a fig about ISIS/ISIL/IS, on the other hand, they do enjoy humiliating the USA by buzzing our planes and ships and watching our Prez hide under his desk with his thumb in his mouth. NOBODY supports or follows the 'weak' Horse. Only the Strong Horse has respect.
You don't have to go to War with them or put "boots on the ground", but you DO have to make them believe that you will. You have to gain their respect.

Exactly who "respects" the USA today? Who "fears" ANY retribution for anything?
Who has our back, OR thinks we have their back?
Who Trusts us anymore?
