From what once was the most powerful office in the free world? You certainly have low expectations of the President of the United States. You are getting your wish though. Egypt brokered the Gaza cease fire, we didn't. England is trying to form a coalition, we're not. England's intelligence identified the beheader of the journalist, we didn't. Yes, we no longer are a major player on the world stage.
I don't want boots on the ground because my youngest son and my oldest grandson would then become involved in that stinking cesspool. However, I could not believe that statement when it came out of the President's mouth. It is hard to believe he has an ounce of testosterone in his body. It was embarrassing.
The United States is not likely to want to risk a rash of casualties to innocent civilians. As proven in Iraq and Afghanistan, the most effective way to defeat an enemy and capture or kill its leadership is through carefully executed ground operations. If the White House wants to destroy ISIS, it might have no choice but to send American troops to do the job. - See more at:
