I really hope they ran that "ring of ice" thing past a few tectonic people.... they seem to be implying that the lack of polar ice is actually moving the Aluetian Trench!

More likely, they are not considering epicenter depths, leading them to incorrect correlations between cause and effect. That means the the subduction quakes along the Aluetian Trench are not really related to the ones "taking a short cut through Alaska".... good grief, what a site that is!

My question was whether or not the source was peer reviewed. This is something sanspeur always requires of us alarmists and our sources. I dont have time to research the backgrounds of every single one of the contributors listed in the "about" section of the website. But note that the website owner acts as if those folks are well know in alarmist circles.

Took you long enough to get back with your talking points.

PS never heard of give and take?

PPS hows that guy doing on his iceberg? You know the one. The AGW bot who is going to use the scientific method to prove that global warming is melting icebergs.

he and other alarmists want to take us back to the days of 1650 where everything is just like they want it to be.

This is a typical tactic from the lefties:

Quote:

Call me when the ice exceeds the average....
Show them that their prophets of doom were completely wrong. Next step. Change the argument. The Al Gores of the world claimed the sea ice would be gone in the arctic in 2014. Not only were they wrong, but now the sea ice is increasing. And it is a huge increase. Just like the posting about the fraud in Australia. The data doesn't match their predictions, change the data.

And also typical: Al Gore's office was asked for a comment? No reply. These people cannot handle facts.

Rather than rely on some tabloid for your scientific information, you should try a legitimate site. If you do that, you'll find that arctic sea ice decline is still a problem.

Myth of arctic meltdown

The speech by former US Vice-President Al Gore was apocalyptic. ‘The North Polar ice cap is falling off a cliff,’ he said. ‘It could be completely gone in summer in as little as seven years. Seven years from now.’
Those comments came in 2007 as Mr Gore accepted the Nobel Peace Prize for his campaigning on climate change.

But seven years after his warning, The Mail on Sunday can reveal that, far from vanishing, the Arctic ice cap has expanded for the second year in succession – with a surge, depending on how you measure it, of between 43 and 63 per cent since 2012
.

Mr Gore – whose office yesterday failed to respond to a request for comment – insisted then: ‘There is a 75 per cent chance that the entire polar ice cap during some of the summer months could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.’

Is this non qualified non climatologist discredited by the AGW True Believers? You tell me.

Hey, Exxon Mobile, where's my check?

Funny you should mention Exxon, even the CEO admits he believes in GW and goes the extra step to attribute it to CO2.

ExxonMobil's CEO admits global warming is caused by CO

Yes, we knew that.

When it is colder it is global warming and when it is warmer it is global warming and everything is global warming.

Only Al Gore can save us if we send him and his henchmen a lot of money!

One huge, giant scam!

Once again, basing your belief on tabloid magazines just shows how much you really know about the subject.
