The sea levels are just surging in the antarctic, the surge waters just hang out around the region. The fear is that if the surge gets high enough the ships won't be able to get into the region do the the wall of surge water.

Yup, it was static, as in very warm, then the climate tipped into an ice-age.

I'm all for the fat cat billionaires paying large carbon credits for climate change, watch how fast they would change their tune, if every time Tom Dick and Harry take out the big yacht or jet for a cruise that sucks up 40 thousand gallons of fuel...

California is now in the third year of record drought; which does not bode well for the agricultural well-being of the nation.
Got any peer reviewed studies that support your walk down memory lane?

Says you.

Funny how whatever you say is relevant and nothing your opponents say have relevance. You and your kind say that the climate should remain forever what it was 50 years ago. Good luck with that.

Climate change happens. You call that a bad thing. There is nothing that you and your ilk can do to change that, but you insist upon taxing everyone and everything using the delusion of human ability to control nature.

PS Mr Know It All, there were no dinosaurs during the Eocene. Very many peer reviewed studies by paleontologists say so!

Bad News for Deniers: Sea levels surging in Antarctica

Al Gore may tell gullible followers that rising sea level threatens to swamp global coastlines, but his recent purchase of an $8 million oceanfront mansion in tony Montecito, California (in 2010), tells another story. Prudent property investors do not purchase multi-million dollar oceanfront mansions if they truly expect them to be underwater soon.

Gore’s new mansion sprawls over 1.5 acres contains fountains, a spa, and a swimming pool (even though Southern California is water starved, and alarmists tell us global warming will cause more severe drought and water restrictions).

Bring it on.. hopefully it will help push CA and NY into the sea.
