Incomes fell for most families in past three years, while top 10 percent prospered: Fed - Washington Times

Well, it wasn't like this was a surprise eh? Hell, even the unions get that Obumbler should have kept to being a community organizer. I actually feel bad for the poor people that voted for him.. Well, maybe not.

Obama has always been bought and paid for by big business.

Wish people would open their eyes and realize democrats and republicans are just different sides of the same coin.

I just don't see any of the Obamabots expressing their outrage over this? Very odd actually since they are so into his hope and change along with income equality. The problem is he didn't even give them the change.

So here's a scenario. You have fast food works wanting 15.00 to flip a burger.. Let's say they decide to go on a walk out. So what do I do, advertise for more workers of which many of the millions of illegals that he just let into the country are more than happy to become leaving our 15.00 an hour burger flippers collecting food stamps and cash assistance. Worse, illegals have driven down the price of labor..

At least he took care of the folks that paid to put him in office.. **** off to the folks that voted him into office.

Obama loves his rich buddies.

What people fail to understand is that many government programs (green subsidies, etc) increase the wealth of rich people at the expense of the working class.

Not a fan of Obama but I've secured some substantial pay increases for myself in the last two years. I work for myself though.

Look beyond the curtain-Obama has nothing to do with the economy-The Federal Reserve has been implementing monetary policies since 2009 that are unprecedented and it has only served to inflate stocks and monopolize wealth into a tiny segment of the population-many of whom are not even American.

95% of all income created since 2009 (TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS in unprecedented "quantitative easing") has gone to 1% of the population while 90% have become poorer in this country.

Think The Fed is working for you?

The Federal Reserve is treasonous and is not aligned with the ideals of the United States-they serve only to grow and monopolize wealth into the hands of a relatively miniscule group of global players, banks and corporations-none of which have any type of allegience to The USA.

Conservatives have stonewalled progressive policies at every turn so that they could eventually point to the growing inequality in America and say, "See? Progressivism doesn't work!" Obviously it doesn't work if you aren't allowed to implement it. Increase the minimum wage to $15/hr and institute universal health care, higher taxes on estates and capital gains and 70% marginal income tax rates, and see if only the richest 10% grow their incomes.

I expect conservatives will continue to blame Obama for inequality, while simultaneously claiming that the only way for the economy to prosper is to cut taxes for the wealthy and do whatever else they want so the Job Creators will deign to create jobs for us.

Obama had two years with a complete dem congress. He had plenty of time to push his silly agenda.

Real income, earned income after adjusting for inflation, has not risen for the past 41 years, since 1973.

The US has always been a country of a majority of low/no skilled people.
Those who put forth the time and effort to acquire and develop marketable skills have done a tad better.

Incomes for all but the top have been basically flat since the tax cuts and massive off-shoaring of teh late 90's. But nice of the Mooney Times to ignore that or blame it on Obama and his magical time machine.

from 1975 to 2000 the real incomes of the top 0.01% rose (sit down for this) by 761%. (The equivalent figure for the bottom 90% is 13%.)
