Exactly, seems like some people are too stupid to understand the difference between someone suggesting something from some telling them they must do something. God forbid anyone suggest one lives healthy. Must have something to do with how they were raised

Meh, looks like there's a US Forest Service worker who could probably be laid off.

I don't disagree on that. No idea why they are wasting time blogging about s'mores.

US Forest Service Asks: How Does Your Marshmallow Roast?

Quote:
Some wonderful memories are born around a fire ring. But whether you are camping, “glamping” or sitting with friends and family in your backyard, waning evenings typically include one campfire staple: marshmallows.

So, on the eve of National Roasted Marshmallow Day (Aug. 30), we pay tribute to the sweet ingredient that makes any form of outdoor gathering, well, sweeter.

It was suggested, not mandated. Nothing more than giving several variations to a recipe.

Look, I am a miner/detectorist/off road enthusiast, so I am no fan of the USFS because of their closing up millions of acres to recreation and mining. I also don't understand why Mr. Ranger needs a full auto M1 and body armor to enforce his will on campers.

Gotta love how deflection is turning this thread into a referendum on FOX, rather than smore recipes.

I didn't see the mandate either, I did see some suggestions but nothing congress was to vote on. Since I've gotten older (early 40s) the pineapple thing wouldn't work for me, it gives me heartburn. Unless the Obama administration also mandated bringing Pepto, I'd have to be a rule breaker.

The marshmallow melts the chocolate ( two blocks from a Hershey bar) and break a Graham cracker in half, damn good. Pop Tarts have imitations, but they aren't even close.
