Republicans haven't been interested in compromising for a long time now. Their idea of compromise is everyone should agree with the Republicans.
How do you compromise with someone that just decides which laws should and should not be enforced?

The executive branch has had a huge increase in power over the last 5 years. It is very unfortunate.

Default Pub-centered polls don't matter

I find this over-dependence by Republicans on POLLS to be one of their core problems. Rather than getting out in the real world, having concern for real people not just the rich, getting educated on the many cultures that comprise this land, they cling to polls. Polls don't disprove that Republicans are disastrous when running the economy for instance. Polls don't disprove the fact that Republicans haven't improved since the Bush years.

Polls are meaningless: The actions of this President versus the actions of the previous Republican president and his Congressional Republican obstructionists tell the tale. The reality? Pubs are always wrong and the "polls" show this. President Obama always holds the superior position.

Pubs, do show up in Nov. Whatever you do, it doesn't change the downward trajectory of the party. Of course Dems will show, but 2016 will be the year where Dems take major steps towards rendering the Republican party completely irrelevant.

the truth is a lot more gray.

my guess is that senate will be 50-50 and dems will control it using the vice president.

the house will stay more of less the same +-10 for republicans.
That sounds reasonable.

You don't seem to understand what's been going on in Congress for some time now: every time the Republican House sends a bill (i.e. A Solution) to the Senate, Sen. Harry Reid refuses to let the bill come to a vote. It is Reid/Democrats/White House who is uncompromising.

It is tight in the phone polling, but the factor that has not been figured in just yet, is those that say they support the Democrat that is running on the phone, but are in such disgust at the "I told you so's" they have no drive to take the time in their day, to go to the voting booth.
After you're done visiting Fantasyland you should check out Tomorrowland. They have a really nice lunch place over there

If this country has another progressive liberal POTUS that adminisration will make even DEMs irrelevant. Will another DEM really be good for the nation? Just imagine...we can watch more freedom, rights and liberties being stripped from us. Whee!!
Most of you DEMs don't know what progressives are about as of yet.
They want total control and the DEM party is their useful tool; their platform, their voter base.
They don't care about you. What has Obama really done for the average American in roughly 6 years?Seriously... The average Joe is a pawn in the game of politics - a number/useful idiot/dumb tool.

Good thing some of us are awake.
