I believe in second chances but to me there is no justification whatsoever for what he did to his wife. I know some women have a smart mouth and it can cause the calmest man to lose it but not even close to that degree and never physically. And based off how he did it, that probably wasn't the first time. He deserves everything he gets.
Not anytime soon. Maybe if he becomes a better person he can play for a fraction of his original salary. Do you think he would go for that? Maybe $500k a year would look real good to him now.
I believe neither in second chances nor rehabilitation - for anyone. He has made plenty of money to live a comfortable life. He should at this point be incarcerated, and if not, we should never hear of him again. For what he did, he should never play again nor be involved with the sport in any way, not have any opportunity to profit from his past involvement, not have any place in the public eye. Rot in prison or disappear completely.
Playing in the NFL is a privilege. So many young men, and women now, aspire to reach that goal who will never make it.
Do I believe he deserves a second chance at the NFL? Maybe, in several years if he gets treatment. However, he would have to really try and change. Most likely, he won't make that change.
Honestly? I feel like if his now wife has no issue with it then who are we? What do I look like worrying about what he did to her meanwhile they're living their life ?
And let me Add r. Kelly has a video of him peeing on a teenage girl. Not only was he acquitted but has had several successful albums after with not a fraction of this outrage. All I'm saying is be consistent with the outrage.
Should he play again? Only if he's good enough and if someone wants him.

R Kelly is self employed, he is a singer.
I don't believe anyone is saying Ray Rice be banned from football for life.
