I'm not very optimistic about the republican chances. I think the majority of dems will rally behind her and I don't see the republicans getting behind any one candidate any time soon.
In general, liberals and Democrats will vote blindly for the Democrat POTUS candidate.
They will say Bush should be put on trial for war crimes due to going to war with Iraq, but they will give her a free pass on not only voting for the war but also repeating the WMD lies.
The TEA Party is proof that many conservatives will not support and even vote against the establishment Republican candidate. There is no liberal version of the TEA Party, because they will not oppose establishment Democrat candidates.
Just promise to give everyone everything that they desire with someone else's money. It's not like what a politician promises is what they have to deliver anyway. Once elected, they are basically tyrants without any recourse except waiting around for the next tyrant to run for office.
Stop nominating clowns who must pander to the far right to get nominated then, while partnering with a RWNJ VP, try and swing back to a middling RINO position to be remotely electable.
I think it's kind of silly to make predictions who is running yet, well before the primary.
If the GOP fields the same group of lunatics, which is hopefully not likely, as in 2008 they would have a great deal of trouble beating a golden retriever.
Run a candidate in 2016 is pretty much all they need to do. Obama is taking care of the rest. He'll make the country as sick of Democrats in 2016 as they were sick of Republicans in 2008. There's 26 months between now and that election, and at the rate Obama racks up knucklehead points, by summer 2016, the GOP won't really have much to do besides not trip over their own feet.

Pretty much, though I do enjoy watching the Republican Circus during their primaries because you never know what stupid far right wing thing any of them are going to say to pander to the far right wingers of their base that are going to vote for them regardless.
I am hoping 2016 will be even funnier than the Anyone But Romney Show in 2012.
