This why poll questions have to looked at.

Bottom line is the specifics of the ACA are popular, the word Ocare is not.

On the policy front the ACA has been a hugely positive and successful policy with millions of previously uninsured Americans gaining insurance.

This is why when the media or conservatives or pundits discuss the ACA, they don't discuss policy, they discuss the word Ocare.

Shallow and stupid.

And millions od previously covered with insurance lost their insurance and there are still 30 million without insurance. So the policy failed to insure all the un insured, cost millions who had insurance they liked to lose it and raised the premiums for all, helped turn us into a society of part time jobs so companies can avoid the mandate, that is the result of the policy so discuss it

The official name of the legislation is the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, not Obamacare. Obamacare is the nickname that people of your ilk gave the law

This is all fiction. The uninsured rate has dropped by 10-12million.

There were zero claims that during the first year every uninsured person would gain insurance.

The reality is that the ACA is lower insurance premiums in 7 big cities. The reality is health care spending is growing much more slowly. The reality is 10-12 million previously uninsured Americans now have insurance.

The fact remains that this debate is about the unpopularity of a word, not policy.

This is why conservatives don't even bother criticizing the ACA on substantive grounds, it's all the word is in popular, but the specific policies in the ACA are popular.

This once again shows to all those paying attention that conservatives don't care snout policy outcomes

I do not blame you guys for wanting to run from the term Obamacare . I bet if it was popular you would not run from the term

The price of insurance has not dropped . Especially for private insurance.
The policy is not popular

We were told 46 million.
4.2 million signed up.

Hardly "highly successful".

They didn't have to claim or project anything.
It was a law that everyone was MANDATED to have insurance or face the wrath of the IRS with penalties.

Obama said himself that he liked it being called Obamacare it had a nice ring to it. Everyone I have talked too calls it Obamacare and a wide majority of friends and family are {D}s.

Liars and idiots posting on behalf of this fiasco.

I had insurance as a self employed person before. My family and I chose high deductible, low premium policies that were great for our needs. Now, the premiums for obamacare have over doubled our family costs to OVER $1000 a MONTH and raised our family deductibles to $12,5000 ANNUALLY. I can't afford that and we make too much according to the politicians to qualify for subsidies.

Result? Newly UNINSURED WHO WILL BE FORCED TO PAY A FINE on top of now having no insurance.

You idiots talking about this policy as though it was a good thing are ignorant and foolish. You have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. But that's how the braindead leftists on this site and elsewhere in the country operate. They friggin' fools.
