Witness our senior citizens many of whom vote for those who would take away their social security. Seniors make up a huge part of the Fox audience so what else needs be said?
Fox News's Old Viewership Is Getting Even Older - The Wire

Their "think tanks" dream up various reasons to curtail or defund Social Security & Medicare (or turn those funds over to Wall Street to play with), including the false notion that it is "broke". They then present this to their aged white audience which I presume are supposed to feel "ashamed" for "mooching off the government" or participating in "socialized medicine" (even though repub congressmen all have it).
Fox's Rove Falsely Claims That Social Security, Medicare Lack Fraud Protection | Blog | Media Matters for America

What's interesting here is that the CNN and MSNBC demographic is also up there, yet as the article points out, the target audience for advertisers is much lower in age.

So what do repub seniors vote against? Wedge issues like gay rights, minority rights, the ACA, brown refugees, Muslims (terrorist or otherwise), environmentalists, "liberals", etc - all the scary stuff promoted by Fox while really important stuff like campaign finance, big secret money in politics (promoted as "free speech"), and the resulting loss of equitable participatory government, gets shoved aside.

But money is property, and corporations are not "people". Got anything else?

Tortious Interference or violating sovereignty is neither Free Speech nor in everyone's best interest.

How is the covert transfer of money between two people Free Speech?

How can the covert transfer of money between two people be in everyone's best interest, when people are not aware it's happening?

More and more retired Americans are voting against the GOP these days because they are starting to realize that the GOP will stick it to them if given half a chance, heck they would do the same to most Americans even their own sheep.

As for your last question: Nope that IS all they have, they simply repeat the same nonsense over and over it is what the faithful flock does when confronted by the unfortunate truth. It is the Wash - Rinse - Repeat process, they only hope people stop pointing it out and in the pea brains of sheeple if they get the last word they Win, yea!

When you cite the law on "your side" it simply says that a fascist Supreme Court has given "your side" a couple of perks, and that is stating the obvious, and has already been well noted here. You also choose to hide behind the fascist smokescreen of "free speech" as a moral justification when you should be explaining your view that it is somehow right for our government to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All Americans, except for a fringe RW fraternity, can sense that government-for-sale is wrong, and you apparently do not.
Therefore, I continue to request that you justify the fascist view on this subject and make an actual contribution rather than hiding behind that "free speech" smokescreen. Why not do that now?

Well, I hope they realize it, but the corporate media will certainly never inform them of this fact.
Of course I have pointed out over and over the plight of RW media dittoheads who are actually dupes and pawns for the autocratic Right, and don't realize that they are being used. The new GOP has become the bona-fide toady of plutocrats, has never liked Social Security or other "handouts" (except for the rich), and that leopard will not change its spots - regardless of what they might say at election time.
At this point after six years of obstructionism, watch for their sudden "compassion" for the poor and "getting things done" that democrats have "refused to do". Bank on it.

Their people get one vote, same as everyone else*

*One vote per citizen not valid in Democrat areas.
