You need to focus on the issue at hand instead of going off the reservation, removing a player from the field for knocking his wife out and dragging her out of an elevator. Very simple question should he be suspended for the year or should he have been playing last weekend?

Anybody who makes this issue political ia pathetic excuse for a human being that I really hope doesn't have a daughter, because they would have a pretty awful life. Why conservatives are trying to defend it is beyond me and not really good to counter the image as far as women go.
Does that mean that you think that there is some correlation between spousal/child abuse and violent sports?
Or that if abuse is discouraged, the sport will no longer be entertaining?

I think his implication is more that there is a correlation between masculinity and spousal/child abuse.
