You shouldn't be sorry for your lack of education and your error. Just learn from it.
Sure, tax dollars go to funding these military bases. But that's not what the liberals are talking about and that's not included in the numbers that you look at when you see the spending discrepancy. It helps to understand what liberals are talking about in the first place.
I'm sorry for my inability to think as stupidly as you guys do, I'm also sorry that I've wasted this much time trying to teach you basic logic but I'm bored.
Are you working? You should be working right now, someone should be working to pay for the poor Democrat voters in conservative states.
Liberal states should also ask themselves why their states are losing residents while conservative states are gaining them by the millions, as evidenced by the fact that Houston & Dallas are both on track to pass Chicago in population within 20-25 year while LA's population growth has slowed to a crawl?
Check the balance sheets of CA & IL for confirmation.
Talk to your own nit-witted people, I'm quite productive and pay plenty enough taxes.
You can claim anything on the internet but I have been to conservative states like Alabama and have seen that famous conservative productivity myself. keep that kind of productivity to yourselves.
As a response to my post you quoted some obscure survey while there is hard data showing that liberal states like California, New York, Illinois and New Jersey are the biggest contributors to the federal budget while conservative Florida, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Indiana are the biggest leaches?
I'd rather go with the data than a survey.
PS. And no. South Carolina is not considered conservative just because of the past presidential election. LOL

I don't live in Alabama, I live in a very prosperous and productive conservative state that pays more than it gets back from gov just like CA, NJ and NY. I pay more in taxes than most dem voters around here make in a year so if you've got a problem with any of that talk to the trashy dem voters that are plentiful in my state first, I'd love to see them be productive.

How do you know that. Do you ask everyone you meet if they are democrats or republicans. And then do you ask how much they make. What a silly post.
Maybe because the residents of Illinois are tired of paying $69 billion dollars a year so the southern states can afford to lure northern business there?
There is about 20 million people in Illinois which means that every Illinoian sends you guys a check for $3,400 a year. Can you at list say "thank you"?

Yes, California is broke and I don't see a reason why it still has to send $106 billion a year to federal coffers instead of using that huge pile of money to help its residents? Why is Arizona getting $17 billion a year from the fed?
Conservatives have been chastising California for being anti-business and in the same time use California's hard earned money to lure business to their states. Crazy. This has to stop. Each state should be responsible for its won finances. No more mooching off hard working liberal states by lazy conservative states.
Mooching , that's a stretch, California has the image I grant you. I love visiting the wine country, Mission Bch and SD. They are great places. Did I say Californian Wine is wonderful!
Then you do business lets say for 5 years and you the business owner discover that your profit margin is slim and your business can barely keep the doors open.
Then you look at Arizona that provides a level of secure business expense and nix the Californian Superior mentality. Arizona and Texas looks pretty good. I frankly do know how regular tax paying citizens can afford long term these states.
I do know how business experience you have and I will not insult you directly, because This is a forum of open ideas and all of us for the most part wants our nation, our states to be prosperous.
This idea one pays more is unfounded, Its based on revenue.
California has the entertainment Industry, Big Money while NY is our Financial state for the most part. That's why the number look a little lopsided.
