It ties in with the youtube video below. We don't need a treaty with the UN, nor do people want UN Agenda 21 ( those of us that know what is really going on that is ), that is forced through local towns/cities.
You are right we won't see the worst of it, but I have kids, grand kids and great grand kids, and if things carry on as they are now they WILL not only see it, but will have to live with the mess we leave them, and at the rate the temperatures are rising you are dreaming if you believe it will take thousands of years to cause them major problems....
This is like so many other hazards we have faced.... The story of how millions of tons of lead, a potent neurotoxin, were spewed into the environment and people's blood for 60 years ranks beside tobacco in the annals of corporate crime in America. Oil companies paid scientists to deny the hazards of leaded gas....Tobacco companies paid scientists to deny the hazards of smoking.... Now we have scientists being paid by corporations to deny the hazards and costs of global warming....
It all makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with people....Are humans really this suicidal?
Wow, settle down. I feel bad for you living with this stress based on some myth.
Actually the article comes from James Taylor, a lawyer who is a paid shill for the Heartland institute...(The same people who defended the tobacco industry) Why should I believe anything from them?
Over land and ocean, NOAA reports that August ended 0.75 degrees Celsius above the 20th century average, while the summer months, June through August, were 0.71 degrees warmer than normal.
A whole 0.75C above the 20 century average I'm sure that anomaly hasn't happened before!
Over the satellite record (much more accurate than ground instruments)
So the UN is part of your conspiracy theory...Do I have that right?...You may as well say that anyone who believes the science, including the scientists, governments, and anyone else who disagrees with you is also part of it....Time now to whine about Al Gore.....
There is no debate...Global warming is real and it is happening now.
Why not? Forbes is part of yours.
I don't think it's a stretch to note that a United Nations special interest group is partial to climate alarmsm and thus biased.
You accused another poster of using a biased source and I pointed out that you did the exact same thing yesterday.
You can plug your ears and shout there is "no debate" until you are blue in the face. It doesn't change reality. We are having a debate right now, plenty of folks have been and will continue to, from lay people to scientists.
The mere fact that you and your ilk are all too eager to kill debate tells me everything I need to know about your true opinion or knowledge of science and the scientific process.

Considering the amount of anti AGW articles they print, actually Forbes is part of the AGW denier media..... By the way I do not consider the UN, NOAA or NASA biased, although I understand that climate conspiracy theorists do.
There is no debate...A debate happens between two knowledgeable individuals, or groups of people.

So there IS a debate, there HAS BEEN a debate and THERE WILL BE more debate about this subject.
By your personal qualifications for a debate, are you saying that there are no knowledgable individuals or groups at all on the skeptical side? Let me guess, they are ALL corrupted by big oil money, right?
...and I'm the conspiracy theorist

Let me put it in a way that hopefully you can understand...Debating with AGW deniers is on a par with arguing with flat earthers.

No, you said there was no debate because, in your (incorrect) opinion, a debate needs to be between two knowledgable individuals, which was your snarky way of saying that the skeptical side has no knowledgable individuals hence, there is no debate.
I asked if you honestly believe that there are NO knowledgeable individuals on the skeptical side or do you believe that there are and they have ALL been paid off by big oil.
If you DO believe that, how is it that you can call ME a conspiracy theorist with a straight face?
