3) Naval personal along with the US Coast Gaurd are at this minute provideing ARMED security for numerous coastal installations in Iraq, UAE, Kuwait as well as other palces in and out of the WAR zone.

This is just the short list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frankly I can't believe someone would even ask this question. Are the majority of Americans that uniformed or that disinterested of what we ask thousands of kids to for us??????
Show some respect, I may be one of the "kids".

yeah this is too vast of a topic to cover in a few sentences, the navy has has a IA program where sailor have been going ashore to ease the burdon on the army and airforce, so you will see navy guys working in the prisons, the help desk, armory, chow halls, doing intel work and construction, and too many other things to mention here. Do we have direct comabt support(SEALS/EOD/CORPSMAN)who have been in iraq since the invasion started. You still have the aircraft carriers off the coast providing extra air support when needed. The navy's mission is too vast to really cover it all, and while most of the sailors are not in direct combat rolls(not there job) they are still supporting GWOT missions 100 percent.
