Hate to break it to you, but to bomb terrorist groups, a president doesn't need approval from Congress. Obama is doing what is within his right as a Commander in Chief. The president is in control of the military, not the Congress.

Good thing.

Kill all terrorists.

Well until there is an administration you don't like.

And Obama disagrees with your opinion.
From the hypocrite in chief himself:
Quote:
"The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation." - Barack Obama, 2007

I'm confused too. If he does nothing then he is weak. If he takes action then he is a war monger. What do these people want??? It's obviously a no win situation. No matter what he does -- it is wrong. Am I reading this properly???

No you're not reading properly and who are "these people"?

If he does nothing he is living up to his campaign promises.

Sorry, "these people" are those that are upset about Obama no matter what he does. My impression is that they would complain that he is weak for not sending airstrikes but a war monger for sending airstrikes. He can't win from where I am standing...

From the hypocrite in chief himself:
You forgot what he said after that quote.

"As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action." Obama 2007

Oh and in case you didn't know, Congress is on vacation for the next two months.

Another inaccuracy.

"Mission accomplished" meant the end of major combat.
