It's been peaceful lately since they chased those folks away that had been camping out.
No it hasn't been "quiet" - at least not according to St Louis News.
For anyone going to St Louis - stay away from the Ferguson area and you should be fine.
There are scattered attacks/robberies on random people when they leave restaurants and things like that. Over the last 5 years or so - Crime has increased a lot in the entire St. Louis area. The biggest danger will be from any large groups of kids - the Knock-Out game is very popular there.

I live 20 minutes from Ferguson.
I agree, crime has increased but most of that is in north St.Louis.
