....and there it is. The REAL reason that the rest of the civilized world accepts climate change as fact, except for the American right wing.
It might cost them something.

After all, "Not On My Dime" is their mantra. Probably needle-pointed on their couch cusions.

Fact. The earth has always heated up and cooled.
Fact. It has never done so as fast as it is now.
Fact. Difference between then and now, human activity.

Option 1. Do nothing.

Option 2. Do something and see if it helps.

Option 3. Be really pissed off if we did option 1 when option 2 might have been a better gamble.

The first two are undeniably facts.

The third is undeniably theory and theory is not fact.

Show me your facts that humans are causing it.

Bet you can't.

And this thread is proof positive - once one of your many AGW threads fail, start another. Repeat.

No not at all. We're having a revenue funnel installed in our home that goes straight to the idiots in Washington, they clearly know what they're doing (when they get back from their jet fueled vacation). Solar panels and cars that run on nitroglycerin are clearly the answer, we need to save the ice caps and walruses.

Benny Peiser | DeSmogBlog

Quote:
Peiser studied political science, English, and sports science.
Why is he the head of a Global Warming Policy Foundation?

Because it's not a science organization, it's a PR company:

Global Warming Policy Foundation - SourceWatch

founded by

Nigel Lawson - SourceWatch

who was the:

Quote:
Former Director (until January 2013), CET Capital Limited (which has worked for oil giants BP Amoco, Royal Dutch/Shell Group, Texaco and TotalFinaElf)
He's definitely an expert at something, but it isn't the global climate.

Tax the earnings of everyone receiving income from environmental organizations or academic institutions that get government money for warming 'research' at 90%.

The subject will disappear in a New York minute.

It is proven science that you cant prove a negative. Nice try.

OTOH it IS proven science that you can throw s**t at a wall, and whatever sticks is proof. Which is the AGW take on the scientific method.
