Trust

a broad term without bounds. Unanswerable generally.

I trust them to collect taxes.

I trust them to grown in power, regardless of power

I trust the govt to be made of in fighting idiots, and don't buy into conspiracy theories.

Neither. What's with the loaded polls these days. Instead of simply asking a yes or no question the OP's all seem to feel the need to add their own POV to the possible answers, hence making it where people do not want to vote because it would meaning agreeing to the addition "stuff" the OP felt the need to tag onto the possible answers.

The Federal Government is not as necessary as they claim to be; I would be all for a much less powerful Federal Government as all our federal taxes seem to be spent on paying war profiteers and global bankers.

Our founding fathers would agree and are probably rolling in their graves.

Those are expectations. Which I guess, that is what you are getting at.
Trust would come with always meeting or beating your expectations.

If anything has been made clear as a bell with the 0bama admin, it's that tyrants seek out service in the federal government, so they can use the power and authority of government to force their ideology down the throats of the people against their will.

What is the job, the constitution places upon the federal government?
Have they stuck to their job, or have they diversified, way outside the scope of their intent?
