So my post was racist because ?????

Also, nothing in this world is free.

it cost money to get ID( only some states have free ones for ) It also cost money to get to the DMV, and even more money if you have to take off work to do so.

You can tie it in to the address listed on your ID card or drivers license.

Classic Obama supporter...too lazy to use Google and demands that someone else do the simple work!

In the 61 out of 63 instances when the ineligible individuals were in the
registration books, DOI investigators reported that poll workers did not meaningfully
review the signatures provided by investigators for similarity with the pre-printed
signatures in the registration books. DOI investigators also found that poll workers did
not check the dates of birth listed in the registration books as they were required to do.
See Election Law § 8-304(1). As discussed further below, DOI investigators were
permitted to vote despite significant disparities between the ages of the investigators and
the ages of the ineligible individuals apparent from the dates of birth recorded in the
registration books. In five instances, DOI investigators in their twenties and thirties
posed as individuals whose ages as recorded in the registration books, ranged from 82 to
92, and despite the obvious disparity, the investigators were given ballots or access to
lever booths without question by the BOE poll workers.
etc.....and so on.....

There are huge holes, Democrat Political Bosses fight clogging these holes, because they benefit from fraud and thus oppose an election with integrity.

Sorry, I had no interest in doing your work or the work of the reporter's. If they are going to use a study, they should also link that study. When they don't do that, that sets off a red flag that they might by trying to misinform the reader...and it looks like I was right.

A voter ID wouldn't have solved any problems. If you read the report, you will find what the BOE said needs to be done is this....

"The BOE is also responsible for updating voter registration records and removing
ineligible voters from its voter rolls. A voter’s registration should be cancelled when,
among other reasons, the voter has moved residence outside of New York City, been
convicted of a felony, or died"

Basically the BOE needs to actually do their job so that these names aren't on the voter lists. If one knows a name is on the voter list, they could make a fake ID and vote in their place and the photo ID wouldn't have prevented anything.

Also what about those felons that shouldn't be on the list? There is no markings on a photo ID that states one is a felon.

There are lots of old black ladies who don't drive and don't have ID cards though they do vote...for Obama.

You really did no know that?

Now back to our Republican Secretary of State Candidate. You agree she refuses to support the Miller Voter ID initiative because it costs too much?

There isnt enough information to determine that..

Actually, it doesn't affect much of anyone.

What it does do is affect Democrat activists who like to round people up who had no intention of voting and cart them off to a voting precinct to get them to vote.

But as for affecting people who really wanted to vote and find they can't because of voter ID laws? Not really. It just doesn't happen. An ID is required for participation in society. People who don't go to school, don't have bank accounts, don't receive welfare, and don't have jobs just don't vote. It doesn't happen. They are disengaged from civic activity. Sorry, but facts are facts.

You liberals turning it into a major issue is just about your usual tactic of creating wedge issues. It's how you win elections. Democrats don't win on the issues. They win on creating conflict. They win by calling the other guy a racist or a homophobe, not by advertising superior polices on the economy or foreign affairs. Polls consistently show Republicans win on the issues. Even in the re-election of Obama that you liberals touted as a clear mandate for Obama's policies, the exit polls showed the exact opposite. On all the actual issues, Romney won. Obama only won because he demonized Romney as a person. In neither of his presidential campaigns did Obama present any concrete policy initiatives. Voter ID is just another in a long line of wedge issues for you to exploit - gay marriage, war on women, the rich don't pay their fair share, etc. It's all about identifying some group as victims and then demonizing conservatives as their persecutors. Over and over and over again. In this case, it's falsely portraying Republicans as racists. Once Hillary enters the race, it will be portraying Republicans as sexists.
