One perspective, out of hundreds who visited China, everyone has a different opinion on one same event.

Our quality of life is not as good as other countries with less resources (Finland, Norway, Luxemburg, Switzerland)

Beside this, we went through that and every developed country went through that but they will get there, if their economy continue to grow at a fast pace.

With huge population like China, it is miracle that don't have famine , diseases , civil wars so for me China in itself is an economic miracle.
China is run as a corporation. Low level citizens have no power at all but they have the chance to gain power through promotion.

Leaders are not selected by members of the corporation, but appointed by their predecessors or supervisors, based on their performance and potential (ideally). Relatives of politicians are usually not allowed to practice politics.

Our working conditions in the US used to be just as horrid.
Agree, every country has to go through hardship in order to achieve to its objectives , India is worst than China for workers but they still have to deal with this for few more years before they reach a European or US standard.

That's what fox news always say, it is not true, if you have any numbers, please post them.
I understand that the largest number of immigrant in the US originated from Mexico and other Latin and South American countries.

The largest number of students are indeed from Asia, not all from China but Asia ,they may look alike but they're different.

Taiwanese are also Chinese but from a different country, there are so many of them in America, other people who may look like Chinese : Vietnamese, Cambodian, Korean immigrants and refugees are in big numbers in the US.

Canada is a different case , do not mix ,Canada doesn't have the same political system or economy as the US.

Can you ask yourself how many American leave the US to live somewhere else ?
How many US expatriate live in Costa Rica, Mexico , Bahamas , Emirates, UK, France, Switzerland ?

These are all excuses ,who cares if China is run as a corporation ! Chinese are not looking to build a western type of democratic society through a written constitution ,they're willing to put on equality in practice without a book.

What type of power are you referring to ? Low level citizen in the US have no power too.
After the NSA scandal, we don't have the moral ground to criticize any country.
