How utterly absurd to put Israel and Palestine (Gaza and West Bank) on equal footing with regard to US relations. You should educate yourself on how many ways the US and Israel are partners. Comment by kdog
Did not say they have equal footing, just said the Palestine/Israel conflict is not the business of the U.S. government to be involved in. Unnecessary intervention in this conflict has earned us tremendous hate from the Arab world. Yes I know Israel and the U.S. have worked with each other regarding intelligence. Only reason Israel does that is so they can get stuff from us, and like fools we give it away, clueless to the true intention. Minute we stop backing them, or cutting foreign aid to them watch Israel become not so friendly. Israel is not a ally to be trusted, Israel has spied on us plenty of times (Johnathan Pollard for example).
The U.S. should do what is in the national interest of the U.S. This is not served by meddling in the Israel/Palestine conflict, or any other Middle Eastern conflict (Syria, Libya, Egypt, Yemen). Along with backing repressive regimes in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc... has earned us tremendous hate from the Arab world, and has motivated terrorists to attack us.
Watch Michael Scheuer, former CIA head of the Bin Laden unit, and what he mentions about Israel. Scheuer is very knowledgeable about the Middle east, and our relationship with Israel.

Yes the guy gets dumped on by the entire committee just as they dump on the American people by putting the interest of foreign nations before the interest of our own. But not to worry because the money we give them comes back to congress in the form of campaign contributions. Congress doesn't need to be concerned that the amount is excessive when enough is returned to them for their own benefit in reelection.
He makes the statement that congress is own by Israel and being with the CIA likely understands exactly how it works. They have to dump on him and do their best to discredit him or be shown as the traitors they are.
Yep. All the U.S. Government cares about is the oil in the region hence why this kiss Israel and other certain. Middle Eastern nations a$$es. It's about strategic positioning and money. Governments should do businesses for their mutual needs but stay out of the wars and private affairs of the other nations. USA needs to just let Israel and Palestine self destruct without their help and fix USA government and nation to help its own citizens and people. Education should be free in the USA but instead they find free education in other countries. Smh
Not true anymore, the US is sef-sufficient in gas & oil, it started exporting this year.
So we really don't any interest in the middle beside helping the welfare state of israel practicing apartheid in Palestine.
