A muslim who agreed with my political beliefs would be a nonjihadist, would be a strong supporter of women's rights, and would understand why the separation of church and state is a *good* thing.
Don't tell me such muslims don't exist. Malala just won the nobel peace prize.
As long as they follow our Constitution, I don't care what religion a president practices, what sex they are or what would be their sexual orientation.

When Obama was elected it was no big deal to me, I wasn't paying attention. Once I understood what Obama was about I thought, oh hell no!
Then I wondered to myself.. would ever vote for a black man if all blacks think the same as Obama, I thought, no way, not if blacks think like him but then again it's people like Dr Carson that tell me not all blacks think like Obama and I realized that maybe I still would. I doubt they have a chance though, the democratic party likes to rip black conservatives apart.
hmm, I wonder, should I be more specific and never vote for a muslim, black muslim or black democrat, democrat, marxist instead?

Unless you're holding Islam to a double standard, of course.
I've read the Qur'an. Not all too different than my own Torah. And like the Torah, unfortunately passages can be taken out of context to promote political goals that betray the core of the faith.
What you seem to be failing to realize is that the new testament and the teachings of Jesus Christ, I don't know quite the word I want to use here, but they replace or supercede the teachings of the old testament. Not so for Islam. Do a little more research.
