7 million lost their coverage and 7 million gained, costs went up 50% and few can use because of very high deductibles.

Doesn't sound like we moved forward.

Stunning that you even think there will be no viable replacement for the ppaca.

The ppaca of course contains some good ideas but they are couched in a bowlfull of refuse. Forget the fly in the soup, the whole bowl is rotten flesh with some fresh vegetables.

Do you not understand the lies which were told to get this passed?
You can keep your doctor, PERIOD! and obama's medical ethicist then says what Obama really meant was that you can keep your doctor if you can afford to keep your doctor. that was his ethicist!! his ethicist!!
His ethicist now claims 75 is a good age to depart this world... you agree? you want to make that decision for your someone else?

The cost of obamacare was doctored to make it look viable economically.

You think four years to rollout a healthcare website is a reasonable timeframe to have it secure, useful and working efficiently?

You think that when the website failed despite the assurance that it would be up and running is demonstrated trust in which you would place your healthcare?

Obama said of hillary that she would pass healthcare by nuclear option, soimething he would never do because he would lose credibility.

Your dem representative, on your behalf, approved the ppaca without knowing what was in it.
Are you not concerned that the dems who passed this law are constantly surprised by the rules.
Are you not concerned the dems are distancing themselves form the ppaca?

Think it was a good idea to destroy the relationships 80 something% of the people had, just to help 36 million people, who the CBO claims, 30 million will not be covered under obamacare?

So basically the economy and people's lives have been turned upsdie down for 6 million people?
You agree with that math??????

You think the architects of the ppaca and the dems who approved it had you welfare in mind?
We know the key votes form LA amd NE were purchased along with other arm twisting that was done behind closed doors by the people who promised you that the negotiation of healthcare reform would be done in transparency so the 'people' could see what was going on and backroom deals would be held in the spotlight.

You think hanging with that crowd will benefit you/

You wonder why repub proposals aren't more well known then ask the harry reid who has suffocated discussion and proposals and the media who failed to publish and discuss the oppositions ideas?

Q3 2013, the uninsured rate was 18%. Q2 2014, the rate dropped to 13%.......a 5% drop.

In terms of costs.....some went down and other went up. I would blame geographic and market factors more than anything else

A silver plan ranged from 160 to 480....depending on your market area.

Issues with deductibles has been an ongoing problem.....just take a look at this article in 2003....yes 2003

Another area in the ACA were it didn't go far enough.

The republicans held the white house under Bush and majority in both the senate and house for TWO years..........and yet they did nothing. If the republicans truly cared about healthcare reform, they would have done something during that period. So now all of a sudden they have proposals but it will fall on deaf ears as their past would indicate, they aren't truly concerned about health reform.

Again, this is an area where the ACA fails. The ACA isn't perfect not by a long shot, but its better than what we had before. Time to improve, not repeal. But as long as republicans have any say in the matter, that will never happen
