How would you even know what it's supposed to represent? You're the one howling about how America is oversexualized, has no morals and it's high time the US returned to decency.

Should we have expected anything less from the French? Smh. Such a godless society. To think they were once the world stature and bastion of upper class behavior, education, and style.

If you don't like it, don't look at it.
Even the artist admitted it was "kind of a joke'.
No need to bring God into it.

I don't know what the Parisians are getting so upset about, it's not even that big.

Norman Foster's Swiss Re Building in London looks like a giant knob and there are other such buildings in Barcelona and Beijing.

I doubt said green thing will achieve 'landmark' status. It looks silly, if anything.

There was, I had read before, the same complaints by some Paris residents when the Eiffel Tower was constructed. I always liked the story of one French author who began eating dinner everyday at a restaurant at the base of the Tower. Asked why, he replied "It is the only place I can enjoy my dinner without seeing that idiot tower".

Perhaps he read the article in which the artist states the piece was somewhat inspired by an anal plug sex toy?

The fact that the "artist" took a punch to the face over it makes me think that there may yet be hope for the world......
