Here is a breath of fresh air. SCOTUS has allowed Texas to use its voter ID law. I'm not surprised. What else are they going to say? If they allowed to law to be struck down they would have an onslaught of cases for all of the other rights and privileges that you need an ID for:

This is also 2014 and not 1914.

No one is that poor or uneducated to not have a photo ID on them considering you need a photo ID for so many things these days.

Let's not forget that your photo ID is also required for welfare, employment, and many other things.

We already had primaries which required an ID.
Now we're starting early voting.

People have had over a year to get a FREE ID.

I looks like it is allowed for this election only because it is too close to the election to be changed. You can bet the elections in Texas will be closely watched, especially seeing this law will basically deny about 600K voters in Texas.
