Here is a breath of fresh air. SCOTUS has allowed Texas to use its voter ID law. I'm not surprised. What else are they going to say? If they allowed to law to be struck down they would have an onslaught of cases for all of the other rights and privileges that you need an ID for:
I looks like it is allowed for this election only because it is too close to the election to be changed. You can bet the elections in Texas will be closely watched, especially seeing this law will basically deny about 600K voters in Texas.
I love that the link says if you are voting by mail, you don't have to submit an ID. So basically if you wish to commit voter fraud in the state of Texas, please do it by mail. So much for a voter ID law to prevent voter fraud.
