It's a good thing the dispensationalist evangelical beliefs weren't so common prior to the advent of modern medicine and disaster relief. We'd have signs of the second coming every other week what with the pandemics, earthquakes and hurricanes that would kill literally millions of people on a regular basis.
Either God is not nearly as wrathful as Mr. Hagee suggests, or he was really ticked at our ancestors.

You're either not familiar with the end times theology embraced by Hagee and a lot of evangelical Protestants, or you haven't paid attention on Sunday mornings. Evangelicals and End Time Theology, is good brief introduction into to these beliefs.

The Jews share the same God as the Christians. The Jews are the natural branches and the Gentiles , Christians were grafted into the same faith in the same God.

Hagee is a political activist, and mixes partisan political opinion into every sermon. It is a shame, because I think he is a gifted pastor, as is his son. As a Christian I reject attempts to use Christ as a political tool. This Ebola statement is one of the lamest Hagee he has said, and I think it's up there with Robertsons comments about Haiti. Why would God kill Africans because of something Obama has done, not to mention the fact that Obama has not divided Jerusalem, it has been divided for decades.
Christians read the bible and see how God works. Let's add in the last days there will be pestilences.. which means widespread sickness or epidemics. These take place in the last days, these signs are written.. people go to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.
Earthquakes, famines, and a spirit of rejecting God's word , spreading the spirit of anti-Christ will prevail.
Good is bad and bad is good will also be a sign that God's judgement , which is letting the evil of the world, the bad which the people themselves create and worship will transmit into wars, civil unrest, racial tension . The evil of the world will grow as the spirit of God is rejected and man destroys themselves.
This God sure is one vindictive, evil dude.
