I own an s-corp that has (for 5-ish more weeks) small group coverage, our policy renews on Dec 1st and I'm only letting one employee keep her insurance due to her accident prone nature. Curiously her premium dropped; every other persons increased. Odd because she was the heaviest user of healthcare.

I have to drop my myself and my families coverage. Yay?

We're probably switching to some high-deductible HSA plan since we have good cash reserves, but it's uncharted waters. I've always had "real" insurance my entire life.

The main upside with the HSA is reducing my taxable income down from the brutal 17.89% it's already at, so I get to screw the government out of taking more of my money, so theres always a silver lining.

You used "Obamacare" and "facts and reality" in the same sentence.

That's comedy gold, Jerry -- GOLD!

Why would you set post 2013 as a starting point? Thats pretty dumb because that means that PEOPLE LOST INSURANCE due to it.. and by using this as your starting point to indicate success, you are actually proving its failure

Again the CBO says we will NEVER get below 30 million uninsured.. Do you comprehend that?
The. Percentage. Of. Uninsured. Is. At. Its. Lowest. Point. Since. 1997.

That means it's lower than at any point between 1997-present. Why is this not registering with you?!

What part of we started with 36 million uninsured, grew to 46 million, and now sit at 41 million dont you comprehend?

You celebrate the growing of those collecting welfare as being a success while ignoring the millions who lost policies.

Except that would be a Free Market reform which you oppose.

Don't forget your own government with the help of the American Hospital Association is the one that crow-barred health plan coverage onto the employers.

It's really amazing how quickly people forget.

You mean most developed cities?

Those "developed countries" are barely the size of US cities.

Bandwagon
If you suggest that someone’s claim is correct simply because it’s what most everyone is coming to believe, then you’re are using the bandwagon fallacy.

Appeal to the People
If you suggest too strongly that someone’s claim or argument is correct simply because it’s what most everyone believes, then your reasoning contains the fallacy of appeal to the people.

Worse than dying on a waiting list because government refuses to spend what healthcare costs and instead claims it spends less?

Lung cancer treatment waiting times and tumour growth.

Therefore, 21% of potentially curable patients became incurable on the waiting list. This study demonstrates that, even for the select minority of patients who have specialist referral and are deemed suitable for potentially curative treatment, the outcome is prejudiced by waiting times that allow tumour progression.

I would be more impressed if you could find the missing 43 Million uninsured in the next 24 days.

These are tough times when even government offered statistics cannot be trusted.

Can always count on you for the gosh darn truth. Thank You, because what you stated! is actually happening to many I know. Businesses who are dropping health care for their employees, and yes they are a small business, just cannot do it anymore. And seniors are as of right now seeing their cost double. That ain't a lie, Some just like to paint a different picture, but you can't when reality TRUMPS the lies.
