"Ron Klain, the newly-appointed "Ebola Czar" for Barack Obama's administration, did not attend a White House meeting Friday discussing the federal response to the domestic threat of the deadly Ebola virus.
An email blast from the White House listing the meeting's participants did not include Klain, who was given the position earlier in the day. The full list includes:......"
That's pretty bad given he's taken on the responsibility of handling the situation.
That said, why is the fed involved in this? We've had a lot of conservatives going after the Obama administration, but really, thus far Ebola is entirely regional. It's been contained in the South. Why not let the state government's handle it? After all, isn't that what small government conservatives want?
Really, what is this guy gonna do?
The Feds are involved because they stuck their nose into it claiming that they could do a better job than anyone else. As usual.
The incident cited in the article is also typical. New Obama appointee follows his leader and ditches a meeting concerning what he has been tasked with responsibility for.
It sounds like business as usual for this administration.

Sorry but given the example of Texas and their ability to deal with it, I have to agree the feds getting involved in the way they have so far is appropriate.
Strange how Cons seem to be up to the second on anything and everything any Lib does, are your lives that boring?
Is yours? If I remember correctly you like to cite Fox news for all the evil in the world and seem like you claim to be "up to the minute" on all things posted anti liberal.
He was appointed on the morning of Friday October 17th, the meeting was midday on the 17th, and it was announced that: "Ron Klain, the former chief of staff to two vice presidents who has been tapped as the Obama administration’s “Ebola czar,” will begin his new duties Wednesday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said"
"The longtime Democratic operative apparently was at the White House Saturday, but he was “clearing paperwork,” according to USA Today reporter Gregory Korte. Klain will reportedly start his new gig next week."
Breibart knew this. Facts don't matter in politics, regardless of partisanship.

So because he doesn't start his OFFICIAL duties until Wed. he couldn't be in the meeting about the very thing he is going to be doing? The real point is that this guy is just going to be damage control for Obama's ego and image. Nothing more, nothing less.
Klain is probably being briefed as to what Ebola actually is.
Klain, after all, is a partisan hack. He has the same medical credentials as Obama had leadership credentials.
Come on, he's just likely following the "Leadership by Example" of Obama.........he doesn't show up a lot either.
