Whoops! Dog must have ate the invite

Yeah, it's Breibart. Get over it.

"Ron Klain, the newly-appointed "Ebola Czar" for Barack Obama's administration, did not attend a White House meeting Friday discussing the federal response to the domestic threat of the deadly Ebola virus.

An email blast from the White House listing the meeting's participants did not include Klain, who was given the position earlier in the day. The full list includes:......"

That's pretty bad given he's taken on the responsibility of handling the situation.

That said, why is the fed involved in this? We've had a lot of conservatives going after the Obama administration, but really, thus far Ebola is entirely regional. It's been contained in the South. Why not let the state government's handle it? After all, isn't that what small government conservatives want?

Really, what is this guy gonna do?

Klain is probably being briefed as to what Ebola actually is.

Klain, after all, is a partisan hack. He has the same medical credentials as Obama had leadership credentials.

He was appointed on the morning of Friday October 17th, the meeting was midday on the 17th, and it was announced that: "Ron Klain, the former chief of staff to two vice presidents who has been tapped as the Obama administration’s “Ebola czar,” will begin his new duties Wednesday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said"

"The longtime Democratic operative apparently was at the White House Saturday, but he was “clearing paperwork,” according to USA Today reporter Gregory Korte. Klain will reportedly start his new gig next week."

My understanding is that he hasn't started the job yet.

that being said:
#1 this is a high priority thing, if you're going to take this sort of job you start now, not on Wednesday. This is not M-F 9-5. Grow up.
#2 This man is a horrible choice for the post, he does not have the relevant skills or abilities. Michael "heck of a job" brown was more qualified to run FEMA (really look up his work history) then this guy is to run the Ebola response.

Since these are people in positions of power who make decisions that affect us, I think it's a very good thing that many 'cons' are keeping up to date on everything they do.

You know what's even more pathetic? Libs who obsess over Sarah Palin, a private citizen who currently holds no political office.
