You can find this problem anywhere, it has nothing to do with being black. It's a huge problem.
Liberal's disrespect for working class is on display all over here. Just look how they hate Palin, because she's a working class person who became governor and VP candidate. They have to scream "ignorant, stupid, uneducated" and every other insult they can find, because the Palins don't attend the right parties, don't drive the right cars, and actually dare co-mingle with other working class people. It offends their sensibilities that someone who they think is of a lesser caste than them would "rule". And, of course, the lesser castes are supposed to bow in worship to them and accept their crumbs of mercy, not "rule" them.
After having denigrated every aspect of working class life and culture and existence (look at the comments they make about someone working in fast food or minimum wage), they wonder why their mentors despise work and drudgery.
Very ridiculous post. Palin is a bigot who opposes equal treatment for gays, opposes abortion and has a shallow worldview that she is never able to explain. She's a nitwit who got by on her looks. She quit being governor of Alaska because it was too hard. She handpicked her successor but is now campaigning against him because apparently she has no judgment. She's just not a person normal people respect. I imagine in Teabaggerland, Rush makes her out to be Saint Sarah to keep his sheep in line for whatever reason but most people know shes a fool.
You don't know much about IQ tests. You discount them because you don't like the implications of them. IQ tests are not a measure of intelligence. They show strengths or weaknesses in specific cognitive tasks relative to other test takers. And they do have predictive value. That's a fact, whether you like it or not.
More weasel words " strengths and weakness in special task." You may have never heard about the historic "Chitlin Test,"a test only blacks could pass. It discounted IQTest and proved ( not a weasel word) what IQ test actually are testing. I score high on intelligence test as well as several of my siblings and several of my kids. only one STEM worker amoung us. People who have to have a job that says " hey look at me I'm smart," are people who are going to pass test.
All this jibberish about black people being smart or not is taking the eye off the ball. Perhaps you have never worked a regular job where no one is all that intelligent but nevertheless they manage to survive, take care of a family, own a house, own a car and send their kids to college. What you may not like is the fact that people who score below average on intelligence test are capable of a 80% of what people who score high on intelligence test. Being smart is not a predictive value in finding a job. How many jobs in America require higher than average intelligence, perhaps you have been on the phone with some who works in customer service?

Our family structures are more screwed up..........Our kids get a worst headstart than other groups........ 75 percent of our kids are out of wedlock..........FATHERLESS!!
This leads to a host of consequences down the road.....

The Chinese and Irish were (not) slaves. There has never been an ethnic group in American history that has been so oppressed, hated, and discriminated against as black Americans.
Irish were discriminated against and hated up into the mid 1900's, but I think it may have changed somewhat after the civil war when Irish brigades fought valiantly people respected them more. For the Chinese, I am not sure, but I think as time went on and people became more educated they became accepted into society.
Which brings up another point. If a white and a black are equally qualified, which would you hire, a white that comes in and does the job but if they do something wrong, they could be corrected without fear of backlash or a black that you risk they'll scream racism at a drop if you look at them sideways.
Look at Barack Obama. He's really bad at his job but say something and they scream racism.

It was created based on the argument that standardized tests were culturally biased. It's not likely that the average Black person today could pass the chitlin test. IQ tests of today are not culturally biased since they rely on puzzle solving and pattern recognition.

Though many companies do use some type of testing to weed out unqualified applicants. My company tests potential candidates for reading comprehension, math skills and visual-spatial abilities. These types of tests act as a proxy for an IQ test. Most Black applicants do not pass.
The fact is that many jobs are out of reach for the majority of Blacks because they are below the IQ threshold needed for those jobs. This limits the number of potential jobs available to unemployed Blacks, which would affect the Black unemployment rate.

You also had Black troops fighting valiantly. Guess what. After the Civil War/Reconstruction, Blacks were still treated quite poorly. There was not "How the Blacks Became White" like it was for the Irish.

You work for a company no intelligent blacks find interesting, rewarding or meaningful. So what? You acknowledge there are intelligent blacks ( somewhere ) but none of them want to work for your company. It says a lot about your company.

And I would also add this. If said person feels that the Blacks who are unemployed are simply "stupid" and "terminally unemployable", then what is the point of discussing this subject?
