I agree. Let's legalize rape, murder, incest, and torture. Just cause some judicial authority said they shouldn't doesn't mean they won't. Not everyone abides by the law.

The weapon was a .40 Caliber Beretta that is owned by the boy's father.

A friend who lives in that area said two of the people shot were his family members. That supposedly the shooter's girlfriend was cheating on him with his cousin, and that they were both shot.

This is just hearsay, but the same person told me earlier that the shooter's family was trying to get his social media pags removed and now his FB page is gone.

Word. School shootings are not normal in civilized lands. This matter needs serious attention immediately.

This is in his last paragraph.

Somebody's child was killed Friday because that child went to school. Somebody has to do something about it. In ways full of both risk and responsibility, you are that somebody.

What an idiot !!!

What part did sex play in the equation. Maybe someone explaining to a teenager that your girlfriend cheating on you is not a reason to kill them or yourself. That's a discussion that needs to be had repeatedly in high schools.

The problem with kids at this age is the thing that they are so horribly upset about would likely be forgotten in a few days. It's having ready access to guns at the height of the emotion combined with being at an impulsive age. If third graders had ready access to guns on the playground, you don't think there's a chance of a fight over the soccer ball? These are young kids. Again, over two-thirds of the school shootings, the guns came from the kid's home or a relative.

I think you have several good points. What was done to secure the gun at home that belonged to his father ? There is a responsibility there that needs investigation.

Yes but you did state CIVILIZED and we no longer are a Civilized Land. People and age does not seem to matter anymore, religion or race or gender.

People go out of their way it seems these days, to hurt, to victimize, and want to destroy, all that is good.

I know we have to talk about all this on the news, but those who victimize and kill people thrive on the attention.

I am so very glad my kids are all grown up adults, I would hate the thought of sending any child to school these days. And hate to say. It is only going to get much worse, so much hatred and evil out there more then ever.

They aren't 'normal' in the US either, they're an anomaly that is HUGELY played up by the media and people who want to push a political agenda. at 140,000 other schools there weren't shootings today, or this week or this month.

Do you really want to save lives, or do you just want to ban guns? If saving lives is truly your goal you should look at the child suicide rate and try to do something to reduce it. Do something about bullying and you'd prevent tragedy's like happened today too, removing guns will only change the tool these kids use.
