Republicans in Congress said they were going to file a federal lawsuit against Obama.
Can someone please give me an update on that? Has the suit been filed? Has it been dropped?
Inquiring minds want to know!
Today... Brit Hume relayed on Fox News that the Repubs have not yet filed that lawsuit. I suspect the results of Nov04 will have an influence on that status.
They've done NOTHING with it. Despite saying it was a clear and imminent danger to our society....they've done nothing.
Makes you wonder if they really believed that, or were just pandering huh?
Because once they press this case over executive authority, and if they succeed in diminishing it the GOP will be forced to abide by the limitations if or when a Republican president is back in office. Republicans and Democrats alike love to abuse authority, and ignore the constitution. Neither party cares about the people, only about their power, money, and influence.
Filing a lawsuit was always a problematic course. These things will be decided via the ballot box.
What I wish to know is when liberals will decide that an imperial presidency that can rewrite law on the fly is not a good thing? Is 'liberalism' now a synonym for 'monarchism?' Inquiring minds want to know.
What happened to that Obama Executive Amnesty thing?
I thought that was really urgent stuff!
On hold until after the elections. Wouldn't surprise me that if the dems lost seats because of low Hispanic turnout or fewer voted, Obama will declare that his pen ran out of ink.
