True liberals are somewhat like feces hurling monkeys. As long as they are the ones throwing the crap they will swear it doesn't stink.

I find it rather silly someone would call a white man an Uncle Tom however those people should take the time to read Harriet Beecher Stowe's book as Uncle Tom was the hero of the story. People seem to use it to describe a black man that is separating himself from his race by following in the steps of a white man. Read the book while reading is still legal.

... this thread is all f**ked up.

I swear, every year, someone seems to think of "Uncle Tom" as an equivelant to the n-word or any other REAL racial slur.

It's amazing.

Perhaps the real question is why did Alma Adams say what she did?

I don't know. It's DUMB either way. Even dumber to make this a race issue when clearly it isn't...

And Hillary, a potential presidential candidate, stood on the same podium after Adams made the comment and endorsed her candidacy.

Well I would offer up the opinion that yes it was dumb on Ms. Adams part and a rather misguided way to inject race into this particular election. SHE did it, not the people who are calling her out on it.

Yes, she did it.

And the ones who are "calling her out on it" are making it even worse just to back their own political bias.

We are calling her out because we are tired of the constant interjection of race into everything.

Soooo you then proceed to inject race into everything?

Way to go!
